Mad dash for haircuts, mail, yard and garden check , and essential supplies.
Flat calm at bedtime, roaring surf at 4 am. Some people got surprised. Coffee with the Ellen’s, cocktails at Pinebox. No swimming, sailing, or paddling, but who cares given everything else?
And, for breakfast, the world famous Bear omelette.
Limitless volunteer goldenrod, thrumming with life, right off the main deck. Perhaps a half dozen different pollinators very busy at work.
Sand tools and bug nets put away.

We we’re headed out towards Gooseberry when we caught sight of a boat coming down the bay towards the marina. Upon closing we turned, and the race was on.
Wind going light prevented our victory.
Cloudy, sunny, warm and cool, here and there.
