Some Sun at Last

Endlessly gray until late this afternoon, when, at last, the clouds broke. Much cooler now, actually below freezing all day, so the mud in the prairie is hardening up, while, presumably, whatever ice remains on local lakes is doing the same.

Of course, not nearly so cold as on Mars, where there appears to be the possibility of life. I think life on Mars is likely, even if microbial. And that means life is everywhere in the universe—a rather fun thought, even though a small selection of  aliens might not be especially nice.
