Not the prettiest day—cool, windy, and mostly cloudy. However, the Leavers (of Whitewater) arrived from Stratford (and a week of plays), and we had a pleasant evening of conversation, smoked pork chops, a walk in the dark along the Lane, and then tea and baklava.
