Mostly overcast with a light cloud cover, once in a while clearing to brillant sunshine, illuminating the land. Cool, but not bitter, with a brisk west wind.

The days, though getting longer in terms of daylight, are too short for everything that needs to be done—breakfast, news reading, dog walking, lunch, naps, clarinet practice, cooking, etc., not to mention worthwhile projects...

and...and this nature anthology project is ballooning out of control. One thing leads to another, and the books keep piling up. (On the upside, it is fun and educational.)
